Original abstract artwork in blue and mixed colours shows the café at a waterfront. The light and texture creates a restful place, where peace and clarity can be found in the midst of a city. Zengo portrays various circular tables and Zai triangular shaped ones, which are situated near the water. Reflections of Retsu, Katana and To are shown in the element, all having their separate images merge and re-merge with the slow fluidity of the water. The intermingling Jumon’s seem to partake in a quiet, yet floating dance reflecting the cafés calm and soothing atmosphere. Solitude or quietness from the bustle can be found in the perfect surroundings of a waterfront café. The viewer gains a reflective passivity, which relaxes and washes away life’s little humdrums.
