Original abstract artwork in red and mixed colours shows the café in rich, opulent and vibrant surroundings. It hints at reminiscences of the past or a sentimentality of a frequently visited place. Certain circles signified by Zengo, represent special tables where regular customers sit. This coincides with the many triangles portrayed by Zai, which correspond to several corners of the café where these special tables are placed. Zen points out the energy of lively anticipation and inner excitement while waiting for a loved one or friend. Zen’s burst of energy indicated by a star like shape, ignites when this companion approaches the café. Retsu points out a window where a loved one can be seen. A small tree placed near the café door entrance is indicated by To. Katana is prominent, portraying the cutlery in the café, where one is seated also the atmosphere, which could be cut with a knife. Not in anger, but in quiet contemplation of the anticipated meeting in the midst of all the café movement.
